SPAD 502 Plus Chlorophyll Meter

Measure the chlorophyll content of plant leaves instantly with these SPAD 502 meter. The SPAD Value gives you an indication whether the plant has received too little or too much fertilization. Optimizing your fertilizing management by measuring regularly is the main advantage of the use of this PAD meter. Subtle changes in chlorpghyll content can be detected faster and easier in comparion to the human eye.

Plant leaves are undamaged when taking a measurement. The sensor reads the indxed chlorophyll content within 2 seconds.
 

Models

You can choose between the following models:
 

1. ST-2900P SPAD 502 meter without a data logger
2. ST-2900PDL SPAD 502 including a data logger and RS232 port

Both models are identical when it comes to SPAD reading and have the following characteristics:

• Instantly measures chlorophyll content or “greenness” of your plants on a scale of -9.9 to 199.9
• Non-invasive, non-destructive measurement
• Trend graph stores and displays up to 30 measurements
• Waterproof design
• Compare in-field SPAD readings to university guidelines

The model with the data logger and RS232 port also has the following:
 

• Connects to any GPS receiver that has a serial output option*
• Equipped with internal data logger and RS-232 port
• Records 4,096 measurements (1,488 with added GPS/DGPS option)
• Configure and download meter with FieldScout® software and USB-to-3.5mm-Stereo-Plug Adapther (Item 3661U.(included)**
• Compatible with SpecConnect

*    GPS interface requires two cables.  The GPS/DGPS cable (item 2950CV5) is available from Spectrum. A PC serial interface cable supplied by the manufacturer of the GPS receiver is also required.
**    PC cable connects to a computer USB port.
