Reference Board for GreenIndex + for Turf
Use this reference board with the GreenIndex + Turf app for chlorofyl measurement of your sports field or greens. Take chlorophyll measurements by purchasing the GreenIndex + app in Apple's App Store in combination with this board by:
- opening the app on your iPhone or iPad
- placing he board on or near a corn leaf
- taking a picture with the app on your iPhone/iPad
- reading the measurement value and nitrogen fertilization advice.
The app captures images and instantly computes the Dark Green Color Index (DGCI) of plant leaves. As DGCI has been correlated to SPAD readings in corn at the V6 growth stage, the measurements are converted to relative SPAD values for ease of use by growers familiar with SPAD tools. Users can customize the visual rating calculation for different species of grass and specific plots of land.
Data is georeferenced and stored as a .csv file and can be send to a pc.
