FieldGuard Soil Moisture Stations


These stations allow you to measure soil moisture in your fields and send data directly to the internet to see on your PC or smartrphone using the LoRa Network by KPN in The Netherlands. Use these stations only in The Netherlands is you want to see and monitor the moisture levels for an improved irrigarion management. For other countries please contact us for the possibiities.

 

Soil Moisture Sensors


The stations make use of different types of soil moisture sensors:
 
  • WaterScout SM100 Soil Moisture Sensor
  • WaterScout SMEC300 Soil Moisture/EC/Temperature Sensor
  • WaterMark Soil Moisture Tension Sensor

The SM 100 Soil Moisture Sensor measures the volumetric water content (VWC) in %. The SMEC 300 has the same function, but also measures EC and temperature in the soil. WaterMark sensors measure the force roots have to apply to extract water from the soil. The station are mounted on a mounting pole for direct placement in the fields.

Please choose the configuration you need.

 

Temperatur/Relative Humidity


The stations can have Temperature/RH sensors to be connected. If you want this function, please choose the configuration of your choice.
 

TRACIS


Each station has its own TRACIS Basic license to see the measurement values online using the KPN LoRa network. Stations can also be configured in TRACIS.The license is a yearly subscription for access to TRACIS and costs EUR 64,00 per year. These subscription costs are already included when purchasing a station. The subcription has an inital duration of one year and will be extented tacitly fo another year. But after the first year you are able to terminate a subscription every month. Smart Irrigation


These FieldGuard Soil Moisture Stations can be used in combination with FieldGuard Smart Irrigation. Smart Irrigation gives you the opportunity to irrigate your fields and crops conditionally and scheduled. If you want a different configuration than mentioned above, please contact us for the possibilities. The default length of the sensor cables are 1,8 meter (SM 100 and SMEC 300) or 3,3 meter (WaterMark). Extended lengths are available at request.
